Faithful Reflections: Love Beyond Measure‍ ‍Story

I’ll never forget the day my grandmother taught me about unconditional love. I had broken her favorite vase while playing indoors. Expecting anger, I prepared excuses, but she surprised me. Instead of scolding, she hugged me and said, “It’s just a vase. You matter more.” Her response left me speechless. It was my first true experience of love that wasn’t earned, love that forgave even when I didn’t deserve it. That moment shaped my understanding of God’s love—a love so vast it covers our flaws and failures.

Insight
God’s love is like my grandmother’s, but infinitely greater. It’s a love that forgives, restores, and never fails. Romans 8:38-39 says:
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Where in your life do you need to experience God’s unfailing love? Are you open to giving and receiving love as He intended?

Prayer
Lord, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Help me to love others as You have loved me, with kindness, forgiveness, and grace. Teach me to reflect Your love in all I do, and remind me daily that nothing can separate me from Your care. Amen.

Daily Verse
"We love because He first loved us."
—1 John 4:19
