Faithful Reflections: The True Meaning of Love
Story
Valentine’s Day often brings images of roses, chocolates, and grand gestures. But love is more than a one-day celebration—it’s found in the quiet moments, in the kindness shared, and in the sacrifices made for others.
I remember a time when I felt unloved, thinking love had to be earned. Then I read Romans 5:8:
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
That verse changed everything. God’s love is not conditional or fleeting. It is deep, sacrificial, and everlasting.
Insight
Love isn’t just about romance—it’s about giving, serving, and reflecting God’s heart. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 reminds us:
"Love is patient, love is kind… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Whether in friendships, family, or relationships, love is a daily choice. How can you show God’s love to someone today?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Help me to love others with patience, kindness, and grace. Teach me to reflect Your love, not just in words but in actions, today and always. Amen.
Daily Verse
"We love because He first loved us."
—1 John 4:19
